Apart from my computer crashing down all over again, another thing that has prevented me from studying and blogging all these days is my flu( or the common cold or influenza).
It's terrible, especially when you know that the common cold is one health problem for which no doctor has a cure. You spend the entire day looking haggard, tired, beaten up and stupid.
So here comes the "promises" bit.I shall get back to blogging very soon. And I really mean very soon.Except that it isn't today. But that shouldn't stop you from coming back to my blog, should it?
I have quite a few interesting posts lined up.Waiting to publish those.
What I'm not prepared for, however, are my upcoming tests.Blame my flu!
See you soon...
And don't forget to come back soon...

Another thought on love...
Light
I was going through my collection of old articles and poems that I had written and this is what i thought of posting. It's a poem I had written when I was in the 8th grade. To be frank it appears quite childish and maybe needs a little refining.Tell me what you think of it...
Every high, every low,
Every rain, every snow
Every win, every loss
Every inning, every toss
Every minute, every second,
Every da Vinci, every Beckham,
Has seen life’s dark.
But in the morning always was a lark
Perched on hope’s tree
Telling us where we are meant to be
That we have but one role
To achieve Life’s goal.
Remember at the end of my song,
Through life’s every ordeal be strong,
And that after every lonely night
You shall face the warmth of daylight.
Don't forget to come back...

The Buttercup Spell
I was at a local bookstore the other day searching for a good Mothers’ Day gift for my mother (she, of course would mentally accept nothing else, owing to the fact that books are her first love).Every book that I scrolled through seemed quite monotonous somehow, especially the ones in the Fiction category (my mum is an avid reader of those) when I came to the humor section and found quite a lovely collection of Henry Cecil’s works(although I must recommend to you Arthur Bloch’s “Murphy’s Laws” for an excellent view on laws that define all the modern day unexplainable ironic things that happen in our lives.). “The Buttercup Spell” is one of them.
“The Buttercup Spell” is quite interesting. Its not your everyday read. But it talks of something very important through those funny lines, something that has been long missing from this world, and that is “LOVE”.
Here’s what it says on the back:
“Imagine a situation where a judge hands out a lenient sentence because he is suddenly filled with love for his fellow man. Think of a world where Trade Union leaders fully support their bosses’ high salaries and where policemen hug and kiss drivers stopped for speeding.
The secret of this strange behavior is nothing less than buttercup pollen. It appears to contain the formula to make people love their fellow man.
However, the attraction of this modern day Utopia begins to fade as the country yearns for an end to the boredom of infinite love. Eventually the government is forced to step in and matters gradually return to normal…”
Pretty much what the world needs right now, don’t you think so?
Anyway here’s what I would like to conclude with. I was reading “Chicken Soup for the Women’s Soul” (again a part of my mother’s great book collection) the other day, and I came across this cartoon of a woman and her friend, who were on a shopping trip, holding out a t-shirt which had “LOVE” written on it. And this is what the woman said while holding it out, “It says one size fits all. And it doesn’t cost a thing!”…

Apologies...
I have been feeling terrible for the past few days, mainly because I wasn't able to access my internet due to a very bad connection, and consequently not been able to blog.
Anyway I have quite a few good articles lined up to post, which should make up for it.
And I really hope to get responses because I'd like to know what you people like and don't like about my blog.
And don't forget to subscribe to my reader, bookmark this page and keep coming back!

Can You Answer These?
Questions in my head...
1. Why is it that the phone always only rings once your totally immersed in your bathtub?
2. Why does the other queue always move faster?
3. Why is it that every time you hope to catch a good flick on TV on a particularly free day that nothing good is on?
4. Why does your entire friend circle remember to call you only when you’re totally pre-occupied with something extremely important?
5. Why is it that when you expect someone, anyone at all to call or message you that no one ever does so?
6. How do you know where the line is until you cross it?
7. Exactly which side of the coin is the flip-side?
8. Why is it that every time you want to prove to someone that something won’t work, it instantly starts working?
9. Why is it that every time you expect someone to be mind-blowingly funny, he always lets you down?
10. Why does it always itch the most in a place that is farthest to reach?
Answers,anyone?
