SAY CHEESE!
Just a couple of days back I was going through my inbox, and this is what I found amidst a clutter of unread forwards.
"Smile For You...
Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,I started smiling too!
I passed around the corner, when someone saw my grin,
When he smiled,I realised,I'd passed it on to him!
I thought about that smile then I realised it's worth,
A single smile, just like mine, could travel round the earth!
So if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected,
Let's spread an epidemic quick, and get the world infected!"
And there are so many incidents that teach us how to live life and make it through every difficulty with just this one devastating weapon! The most interesting people you meet have the lovliest smiles and the most pleasing attitudes, like the recent blogger friend I made who just never stops smiling(I know it even though I've never personally met him.He sends a minimum of twenty smileys in every fifty lines of chatting)!
So smile now,win hearts and see how glorious it makes you feel at the end of the day!
Just one thing.
Don't forget to brush!

Eyes wide open!
what do i do now?
OK,I set up my own blog.I threw in a couple of articles. And I took up the painful task of updating a profile for the zillionth time or so on the internet.
But hey!Does anyone out there even know spectrum exists?
OK this might be a little too early to be asking for a highly popular blog, but its kind of frustrating when your own people fail to read it.I remember giving my blog address to everyone I know (including my Physics teacher) and searching at random for people who'd like to throw in a comment or two once in a while (and possibly become friends).
Maybe the problem exists in the blog itself...is it the layout?Or is the agony-aunt type of advice I keep doling out in my blogposts? Anyway I guess I still have enough time to pep it up a little bit.
So if your reading this,do stop by and spend a few seconds in giving me a piece of your mind about what you think about my space.

When I got a new pair of shoes...
When was the last time you kissed you mother goodbye before going to school, when you played with your pomeranian, when you fell off the chair laughing at a joke, when you spent a sunny, sunday morn watering your plants or when you smiled when you heard your favourite song being played on the radio?
This tuesday afternoon, when I came up with the idea of vaguely naming an unwritten blogpost "when I got a new pair of shoes",I wasn't really thinking about anything this introspective and serious to write. It is only when I heard Baz Luhrmann's,"The
Sunscreen Song" on my media player that I thought of typing all that I've already written and all that I'll be writing.
This blog is to remind all those who are busy running the rat-race for materialistic power to stop for just one moment and think of all those little but important things in our daily lives that often go by unnoticed and are left meandering somewhere, somplace.Baz Luhrmann in his recital truly talks about all the things we keep worrying about and all the things we neglect in the bargain. We spend days and months worrying about how fat we look or what impressions we've made on people, when we truly know deep down inside that all those thoughts are immaterial and of no great value. We've lost a lot of time in thinking about how to put the next person down or in making money as if they grew out of trees or in wondering where we went wrong with our children. But there is still time.To learn to be with the people we love and meet.To take your sibling out with you instead of bribing her with a candy like everytime. To actually wear that pair of new shoes that you got and feel great when you jog, instead of putting it up on display just to show off it's brand.
We are so entrenched in this vortex of being the best, getting the most and winning the race that we fail to realise how robotic we have become. And this is what we have to put an end to.Science is telling us that we have few years more to live and so we surely wouldn't want to spend the rest of our shrunken lives thinking about how we wasted the past in reaping shallow benefits and ruining others' lives. The time is right to do what you wanted to do yesteray now!To give a loved one a big hug.And to wear that pair of new shoes and feel great in them!

Introspection
What is life? Not just existence, nor a never-ending search for peace, nor a pathway to death. Then, what is it? It’s a rhetoric, left unanswered by many whom the hourglass has observed come and go by. It is for us to answer and to question...
I am left bamboozled by this one object of thought. And being an adolescent perhaps makes it even worse because so many drastic life-changes start happening to one in his age of adolescence. To me, its like a Rubik’s Cube, to be played with until all the colours fit into the right slots or as simple as tying one’s shoelaces. It’s an alphabetical mystery to a dyslexic and a sum of numbers to a mathematician, an irregularly drawn line or a perfect circle. Its that easy and difficult to understand. Its like playing with words that give the same meaning or like composing a symphony. Its complex, its cyptic, its beautiful…
It’s as glorious as the summer sun, as enigmatic as the midnight moon, as beautiful as Julia’s smile and as pure as Pocahontas’ heart. As wild as a lamb, as tame as a bull, as short as an hour and as long as a second. As magnificent as a Titanic and as unfortunate as a Poseidon, as easy as calculus and as difficult as memorizing tables. Its a speculation, an introspection, its philosophy…
Its as wonderful as falling in love, as haunting as a walk in a lonely planet, as revealing as the evening news and as appalling as a terrorist attack, as mesmerizing as a stark white unicorn and as dejected as a slain dragon. Its a story, waiting to unravel itself…
Its like a cup of instant coffee, a game of roulette, its a soak in a bathtub and its like the first rain. Its like the smell of freshly mown grass and like your mother’s chicken soup. Its like being tickled or being hit hard on the head. Its a recipe, awaiting its fate at the hands of a master chef…
Its bliss, joy, happiness. Its dark, deep, scary. Its love, thrill, excitement. Its archaic, swindling, depressing. Its art, its the movies and the latest trends. Its the tsunami, global warming and the politicians…
It’s the earth, the sky and the heavens yonder and its like being in a crowd or being left alone…
Its our footprints, our shadows and our reflections…
